Bonspiels offer our members the chance to participate in fun-filled events; not only at the GCC but at other clubs in Calgary, the rest of Alberta and neighbouring provinces.
Events at Other Clubs
We don't have a "bonspiel board" with hard copies of posters for events at other clubs. Instead, we provide links to the provincial curling associations that maintain a list of spiels. So think about getting the team together and making a road trip!

Parry Memorial Boxing Day Family Funspiel (Dec 26)

This is exclusively for members and their guests.
Ray Tull Memorial Senior Bonspiel (Dec 27-28)
Completed
This bonspiel is for curlers aged 50+ in the open category (members and non-members). More than $3,500 in cash prizes up for grabs.
Qualifier for the Curling Alberta Club Championships (Jan 3-4)
Completed
This event will qualify two Men's and two Women's teams from the GCC to participate in playdowns. It's as close as club curlers get to the Scotties and Brier.
GCC Skins Cashspiel (Feb 14-15)
Completed
This is the Club's signature event with more than $3,500 in skins on the line. Open to members and non-members. Big Saturday evening banquet and live music. Click here for more info and to register.
Garrision Club Championships (Mar 14-15)
This weekend brings together the GCC's best teams to crown the champs. Click here for info.
The Rock & Roller (Mar 28-29)
Sold out
This event is restricted to GCC curlers with 6 or fewer years' experience. Get dressed up in your favourite rock & roll garb. Supper buffet and live music on Saturday. Registration opens Feb 7. Click here to sign-up
