Thursday Spring Social Pickleball

Stay active and social with pickleball!

With rain, a morning chill - and the occasional snow flake - likely prospects at this time of year, why not move your early pickleball season game indoors to the mighty Garrison!

Are you looking for a fun, low-impact way to stay active while connecting with others in your community? The Garrison’s Social Spring Pickleball League is the perfect place for you! Our program is designed specifically for those who want to enjoy the game in a relaxed, friendly environment.

What to Expect

  • 2 hours of gentle pickleball play. Enjoy casual games that focus on fun and social interaction. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, you’ll find a welcoming space to play at your own pace.
  • Social atmosphere. Our sessions are all about making connections. Chat with fellow players, share stories and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a like-minded community. If you’ve participated in our curling programs, you’ll know exactly what that’s like!
  • Inclusive environment. We welcome all skill levels; so whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or you’ve been playing for years, you’ll feel right at home.
Après-pickleball drinks and snackers. We’re fully licensed so kick back and have a bevvy with a snack. We're a curling club, after all, and can do that up pretty good!

Format

  • Maximum of 16 curlers on four courts per 2-hour session
  • Registrants are randomly assigned to courts and play 10 x 12-minute games with different partners, switching when the buzzer goes off.
