The Garrison Curling Club is proud to present Calgary's:
Post-Secondary Intramural Curling League
Registration is now open for the April 8th
University & College Bragging Rights Bonspiel
University and college students now have the greater ability to curl at a low rate, while meeting/competing against other players across the city.
It was created to help grow the longevity of the game, and supplement the current lack of Calgary curling college/university opportunities. It’s seen as the first step to creating a sustainable post-secondary league, giving both new and experienced players across the city the greater capacity to curl.
The league is also a great outlet for curlers who: don’t know how to get started, don’t have teams, or who can’t afford or commit to joining a traditional league. It’s not only a chance for those who have never curled before to try it, but it also gives competitive curlers a new practice/scouting opportunity.
The Garrison is committed to the success of our Calgary college/university teams. As more people get involved, we are looking to help grow player and team capacity further, by exploring future development/coaching programs.
