Youth Curling Coaching - We're looking for enthusiastic players, with a minimum of two years of curling experience, to support the Garrison's youth program. We need an average of four to six coaches a week to ensure the best program experience. Help inspire and nurture the future generation of curlers on Saturdays from 1:30 to 3PM. Each day we host a 10 to 15 minute meeting to review the day's on ice activities, with a full volunteer manual and any other necessary pre-program briefing(s) provided. Wheelchair Curling On-ice Assistance - During league play (October to March) Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons.
League Representatives - During league play (October to March). These are the social convenors: your job is to welcome the curlers and figure out how to spend your league's Social Fund. No heavy lifting required - leave that to Steve, Jared and Jacquie in the GCC office! We have rep openings in the following leagues:
- Monday Night Men's
- Tuesday Night Open
- Thursday Night Ladies'
- Thursday night Open
- Friday night Mixed
Alberta Provincial Wheelchair Championship - March 19-22, 2020. We will be looking for as many as 30 volunteers for all facets of this Thursday to Sunday event, featuring 6 teams. As the home club for the reigning Canadian Champions, we ewant to put on a great championship.
